If you\u2019re wearing a mask, this will bypass facial recognition<\/em> to apple watch<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Apple\u2019s iOS 14.5 is out, and with it comes the ability to have your Apple<\/a> Watch unlock your Face ID-protected phone if you happen to be wearing a mask. This will make it a lot easier to get through your day without having to enter your passcode each time you need to use your phone (because the Face ID<\/a> can\u2019t recognize you with that mask on). As long as your phone and watch are in close proximity, you will be able to unlock your iPhone<\/a> just by turning on the screen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
