Let&#8217;s go!\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"708\" height=\"391\" src=\"https:\/\/rocketworkshop.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/10-step-ultimale-guide-to-diy-tie-dye-by-ufabet.png\" alt=\"10 step ultimale guide to diy tie-dye by ufabet\" class=\"wp-image-277\" srcset=\"https:\/\/rocketworkshop.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/10-step-ultimale-guide-to-diy-tie-dye-by-ufabet.png 708w, https:\/\/rocketworkshop.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/10-step-ultimale-guide-to-diy-tie-dye-by-ufabet-300x166.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 708px) 100vw, 708px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What you will need<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Many big retailers including Amazon stock tie-dye kits, but you may find everything that you need around the house anyway.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You will need:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Rubber bands<\/li><li>Rubber gloves<\/li><li>A plastic bag<\/li><li>Squeezy bottles (you could use an empty shampoo bottle with a squeezy nozzle!)<\/li><li>Dye <a href=\"https:\/\/ufabet999.com\/ufabet\">ufabet<\/a><\/li><li>An item you want to tie-dye&nbsp;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>TOP TIP: We recommend doing this outside and wearing something you don\u2019t mind getting stained \u2013 things could get messy!&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 1: Decide what you\u2019re going to tie-dye<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>You can tie-dye absolutely anything! The choice is yours. The most popular tie-dye project out there has to be tie-dye t-shirts, but we\u2019re seeing tie dye joggers, socks, hoodies and more all over social media right now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 2: Pick your colours<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Choose the colour you\u2019d like your item of clothing to be. You can choose just one colour (we love pale blue) or multiple colours for a more vibrant rainbow effect.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once you\u2019ve chosen what you\u2019re going to tie-dye and your colours, and you\u2019ve collected everything you\u2019ll need, you\u2019re ready to go!&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 3: Pick your design<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>There are so many different designs and patterns you can choose from. Here are some of our faves:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>A spiral<\/li><li>Stripes<\/li><li>A bullseye&nbsp;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 4: It\u2019s &#8216;scrunch&#8217; time<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Dampen your piece of clothing with warm water and lay it on a flat surface. Put on your <a href=\"https:\/\/asacyl.com\/tag\/rubber-gloves\/\">rubber gloves<\/a> and scrunch the fabric, depending on the pattern you\u2019d like to create.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">To achieve a spiral pattern:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol><li>Choose where you want the spiral to start and pinch the centre<\/li><li>Twist the fabric in a clockwise direction until all the fabric is in a tight spiral shape<\/li><li>Use 3-4 rubber bands to secure the material in its spiral shape<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">For a stripy pattern:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol><li>Gather and fold the fabric in the middle to create a vertical tube-like shape<\/li><li>Use a rubber band to tightly tie the material at one end<\/li><li>Add more rubber bands to the material, spacing them out depending on how close you\u2019d like the stripes to be<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">To create a bullseye effect:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol><li>With one hand, pinch the fabric at the centre of where you want the bullseye to be<\/li><li>Wrap the other hand around the fabric, just below where you\u2019re pinching it<\/li><li>Using the hand pinching the fabric, pull the material upward into a cone shape, guiding it with your other hand<\/li><li>Place rubber bands down the length of the cone-shaped fabric, spacing them evenly<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 5: Start tie-dying<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Squirt the dye all over both sides of your scrunched up bundle of clothing. If you want to make your finished product multiple colours, use the rubber bands as a guideline for creating sections of different colours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 6:&nbsp;It&#8217;s a waiting game<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Once you\u2019ve dyed your item of choice following the steps for your fave pattern and you\u2019ve put it in a plastic bag, it\u2019s a waiting game.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Depending on the look you want to achieve, let your piece of clothing soak up the dye for at least an hour. For a lighter vibe, let the colour absorb for a couple of hours, or let it sit for up to 24 hours for brighter, more intense colours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 7: Rinse and dry<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Once you\u2019ve left your item to absorb the dye, undo the rubber bands and rinse your item under cold water until the water runs clear.
